Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity’s program is a hand-up not a hand-out program. All prospective homeowners must:

• Complete 300 hours of sweat equity
• Save at least $75 each month in a bank account
• Provide proof of income and savings
• Have a down payment and their portion of closing costs
• Attend financial literacy and homebuyer classes
